Pluto Head has arrived!

This web page began nine years ago, with the launch of NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto. We even had a crude version of this album cover here. It began with just a couple of songs. One of the first in 2006 was Lift-off Reverie celebrating the launch, and culminating with the spectacular cosmic soundscape, Pluto, just before New Horizons arrived at Pluto. The nine year wait is over! Pluto Head is now officially released and available on CD Baby, Apple iTunes, and most places digital music is sold.

Pluto-Head artwork

Beautifully otherworldly, this is some of our most far-out music from the very edge of the Solar system. Released this summer in high resolution stereo on Compact Disc or digital download at CD Baby, Apple iTunes and most other digital music Internet vendors.

NASA's New Horizon spacecraft has completed it's astounding nine years journey to Pluto and is now headed deep into the outer edge of our solar system! In 2006, Pluto was reclassified by scientists to be termed a dwarf planet, rather than the planet it has been thought of for many years. A lot of people were upset by this. They are called Pluto Heads. I'm a Pluto-Head of a different sort, one who explores far out realms of music. This instrumental album of electronic tone paintings celebrates exploration, discovery, high technology, and the advancement of civilizations. I hope you enjoy the journey!
